#CrossFit; #Paleo Food Logs; Hydrostatic Body Fat Dunk Test
Hit up CrossFit again tonight. The owner of our box was teaching it because the usual guy went off on his honeymoon. He pushes harder. That’s a kind way to say what happened to me tonight. I feel great, but I do think I was holding myself back out of fear. He pushed during the workout, but pushed during the warmup even more. Stretching, progressions, etc. For the workout, I ended up jumping rope (sort of) trying to get to double unders – not even close! lol. & Clean & Jerk. With a bar. With weight. I was so scared. But, I survived. I’ll let you know how I feel in the morning.
I had a video chat this morning that I got so absorbed in I forgot to eat until after 2pm. I wolfed a burger and two cheese hot dogs – we found some nice ones at Trader Joe’s. New favorite dog. Did some more shopping. Pre-CrossFit, I ate a couple large slices of black forest ham. After working out, I made bison balls & wanted them with dip, so I had to make mayo and the dip. Finally got to eat that w/ several balls, and several baby kosher dills.
After CrossFit, the owner came up to me and asked when would I be ready to discuss my diet. LOL. So, I’m writing every morsel that passes my lips to send to him weekly. This should be fun.
Tomorrow, Hubby and I are going to get dunk tests done. I know opinions differ on their efficacy, but I’m stoked. I kinda wish I’d done this when I weighed 330 pounds, but better late than never. & I will still have my at-goal to compare it to – and only imagine how horrible it all was at 330 & how far I’ve really come. I will probably post a special report about the experience & results from that.
Have a great one!!
