Day 3 #21DSD; Salt, BG, & Abs! OW!!
So, all in all, yesterday was great. Observations – I need more salt. I need to have some higher-carb food once a day. I have abdominal muscles. & they hurt! lol
Guess the planks really do freaking work. I feel my abs all the way down to my lady bits.
I’ve got a cold/allergy thing going on. Nothing more than really freaking annoying, because I don’t ‘feel’ sick, but I’m runny. Maybe the natural process of clearing out the dairy in my system? Maybe so.
Food was good. I packed in nutrition. Made a hunk of meat in the grokpot & cooked up green beans to go with it, using coconut oil & sea salt. Great first breakfast. Second breakfast was 6 scrambled eggs.
Snack/lunch was a strawberry, coconut milk smoothie. Dinner was meatballs – that I put liver in – drowned in homemade marinara! They were an amazing color, and I really did love the flavor, even more than my normal recipe of beef meatballs. I probably won’t put liver in the pork ones, though.
Since I’m writing this up the morning of day 4, and I don’t have any pictures from yesterday, I’m including my breakfast that I’m eating between sentences:

I’m going to continue to do the epsom salt baths. I’m going to add something salty each day – pickles or olives. I was able to get to the store last night and picked up a couple of big granny smith apples which will get me through 4 days, and a handful of sweet potatoes that I will mash and have a small serving on workout days. As for the cold/allergy/dairy withdrawal, I’m taking a lot of D3. I will try a tea tree oil steam bath, but I doubt this is something that can be helped with TTO.
Bob & weave. Bob & weave.
Have a wonderful day!!!

Hope the running stops asap. Nice meals!!! All this talk of hot baths makes me me want to jump right into the hot tub…maybe I will!
Honestly, some runny, itchy eyes & nose are a minor annoyance compared to the pleurisy that hit me last time. lol
Jealous of people with hot tubs. So fun!
Looks delicious! You certainly eat healthier then me. And yes, planks do work. Although I don’t like staying the same position for so long, so I switch it up with mountain climbers, spiderman climbs, and cross-body mountain climbers.
I’m just getting back into working out after a year out of commission w/ a bad back. I’m looking forward to progression and new challenges like those climbers.
